TASMANIAN HOGMANAY HOOTENANNY

Every year we run a full Scottish Hogmanay event in Launceston Tasmania with live music, ceilidh dancing, address to the haggis, haggis supper, whisky, piping and much much more.

With sold out events in 2023 and 2024, our 2025 Hootenanny is sure to be bigger and better than ever.

Our Hogmanay Hootenanny takes place in Launceston, Tasmania. It kicks off at 12 -1pm with a ceilidh dancing workshop then doors open for the event at 7.30pm running through until around 1am

Venue - Max Fry Memorial Hall, 60 Gorge Rd, Trevallyn TAS 7250

The night consists of a range of entertainment

  • Live music from The Stovies and guest performers
  • Ceilidh dancing with The Scotsman
  • Bagpipes from Sally-Anne Richter and David Doyle
  • Other surprises yet to be announced

The event is open to everyone no matter your age or experience.

The venue is set-up bierhaul style with long shared tables so perfect for groups as well as individuals who want to come along alone.

Tickets are $75 or $60 for kids under 12.

We also offer family tickets (2 adults + 2 kids) for $250 and group tickets for bookings of 4 or more for $280.
